Rhodochrosite (not to be confused with Rhodonite) is a beautiful stone that opens the heart chakra. Lovely colouring with pinks and white swirls, among shades of red, and black manganese oxide inclusions. Quite a rare specimen, it is one of the softer stones and can NOT be placed in water for cleansing. Rhodochrosite encourages love towards yourself and others, and assists in heart health- stabilizing the heartbeat and blood pressure.
